1. What Ghost does

Ghost is a software service that provides home-service businesses with an AI voice agent. When a customer calls your business number and you don't answer, Ghost automatically calls that customer back, answers their questions, and books appointments on your behalf using a conversational AI.

2. Subscription and billing

Ghost is offered as a monthly subscription. Your card is charged automatically each month on your billing date. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal — your service remains active through the end of the paid period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the legal right to use Ghost to call back your customers. Ghost places outbound calls to phone numbers that called your business line. It is your responsibility to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and any applicable state laws regarding automated or AI-assisted calls.
• Providing accurate business information (hours, services, pricing) so the AI can represent your business correctly.
• Reviewing appointments and quotes logged by the AI and following up with customers as appropriate.
• Keeping your account credentials confidential.

4. Call recording and transcription

Calls handled by the Ghost AI voice agent are processed by our AI partner (Vapi) and may be recorded and transcribed. Call summaries are stored in your dashboard. By using Ghost, you acknowledge this and agree to notify your customers as required by applicable law. Many states require at least one-party consent for call recording; some require two-party consent. You are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

5. Service limitations

Ghost is an AI assistant and makes decisions based on the information it has been given. It may make mistakes, misunderstand callers, or book appointments incorrectly. Ghost does not guarantee that every missed call will result in a booked appointment. You should review your dashboard regularly and follow up on any appointments or quotes that need attention. Ghost is not a substitute for human judgment.

6. Limitation of liability

Ghost is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed bookings, incorrect appointments, or calls that were not handled as expected. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the prior 30 days.

7. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that causes harm to others. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect. Continued use of Ghost after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
